Storytelling Helper for Interactive and Expressive Literacy Development
SHIELD helps children build their oral storytelling skills. The child looks at an illustrated scene and tells, out loud, what is happening. SHIELD listens, transcribes the story and compares it with the picture. When something is missing, unclear or could be said better (a character left out, a vague word, a grammar slip), the scene itself reacts with a short animation that draws the child's attention to it, so they can notice it and say it again in their own words, without ever being given the answer. At the end, you can download a readable analysis of the session.
In exchange for your email and a few words on why SHIELD interests you, we cover the first $50 of API costs (speech recognition and AI models) so you can try it. Once this credit is used up, you will need to enter your own API key to keep using SHIELD.
By continuing, you agree that we may contact you later to take part in studies about SHIELD or similar applications.
